How could i wire up my own LED lights?

I’m wanting to wire up around 50 LED bulbs, theyre only small, similar to fairy lights, but im abit stuck on what power they would need, i dont mind conecting them up to a battery pack but i have no idea of the voltage needed, if i can then i’d prefervto connect them to the mains via a plug socket if it can be done? … also if any one knows, what would i be looking to buy if i wanted the bulbs to flash, cheers to anyone with more knowledge than me and can help out

Be careful connecting up to a power source such as the mains. If done incorrectly, it can be a fireshock hazard as well as destroying all your LEDs. Connectig to a battery is a little safer but can still create a fire hazard if not done properly.
