I am selling my house. Is it wrong to take my lighting fixtures that I can’t live without?

My house has sold and we are closing on May 29th. There are 3 lighting fixtures that I would like to take with me, because I love them and don’t think i can find a replacement for them in the future. Is this ok to take them as long as they’re replaced with something else? Not sure what is acceptable…

When people look at a house for sale, it’s assumed that things like lighting fixtures will go with the house when it’s sold unless you specify that they won’t. It really would have been best to remove the fixtures you wanted to keep, and put something else there before you showed the house. What you should do now is get the realtor to check with the buyers and see if they’re okay with different fixtures, saying you will of course pay for the new fixtures and installing them, and that you’re willing to have the buyers choose what you’ll have installed. If all this is going on, they might as well get something they want.
